In order to be able to deal with this god awful new aiming system? I really feel -Yoink!- ruined halo by forcing this unneeded patch that has basolutly -Yoinked!- the aiming system. Iwent from going positive 10 every game to going negative every game bevcause of this drastic change. so do I gotta drop the 150 on a modded controller to enjoy this game?
The elite controller is awesome. If you play FPSs a lot you won’t regret it. The trigger stops and paddles are the primary reasons.
That said, I’m not sure how the elite controller deals with whatever aiming issues everyone is complaining about.
This is my guess about why the aiming changed. I’m telling you Microsoft and 343 are on their last lifeline with me unless an announcement is made soon.

its obviously not if this many people are vocal about it. As I stated I used to go positive 10 easily every game now I’m going negative directly after the update. Nothing else changed but the aiming.

No, but you should. The sticks snap oh so nicely and being able to have custom buttons, some being under the belly of the controller, just bring it all to a new level.

I love mine. I set it up so I have the “Smooth” option on my right stick on damn near every FPS I play, and you really notice a difference in the way you play.

Id love to try it out but some of us just don’t have 150 dollars lying around. kinda a shame that means my experience has to be worse because I don’t have the money to afford a fancy controller. totally fair right?

That you want to salt our fun? Sure, why not? It’s a great controller.At least it’s not a $200+ SCUFF that’s been available for a couple years now.

more people started playing the initial pool of players has changed the game is progressively getting more competitive
If you can’t get it, wait until december. They are adding a feature which allows you to customize the sensitivity of your aiming. It allows you to change the speed of which your reticle moves vertically and horizontally independently of each other meaning you could have like a vertical retical movespeed of like 10 but a horizontal movespeed of only 5. It might not fix the aiming problem but it should help.
I haven’t noticed a major difference in aiming…I’m still getting about the same K/D as previous. That being said the Elite controller is awesome, don’t think it will help anyone with aiming problems and it definitely didn’t dramatically improve my score since I got it but I love the heft and build quality of it.
