Every match players who take clear as day hits, and I mean repeated hits while one shot are taking no damage. Why is this a thing?

The net code problems in this game are ridiculous and it seems to be getting worse.
Edit: Try shooting 3 feet to the left. I find that works sometimes.

That’s absolutely crazy. It feels worse than Halo 3 back in the day.

Yeah it almost feels like the peer to peer servers back in Halo 3 where it was always super obvious when you had host because all your shots would register and the rest of the games it was a crapshoot.
The desync issue should be the number one priority along with dealing with cheaters imo, and 343 probably (hopefully) feel the same way and are working on it.
I just wish they would address it a bit more as it really is a deal breaker for competitive players. I should be getting killed because I got out skilled by my opponent, not because my shots didn’t register that clearly hit then getting back smacked from being hit in the face.
