I was reading the latest blog post about ATN and I noticed a concept art piece with a flood brute that looks similar to Decimus.

I know it’s going to be sad seeing him like that. If atriox doesn’t say anything about him feel sad or even feel abit scared because he has to kill a brute he’s know for years now. if we don’t get anything like that I’ll be triggered. Also there goes my hope for him to return in normal form 
he seemed so interesting in the campaign and now he’s apart of the flood!

How would Megatron react to Soundwave’s death? How about Tidal Wave, if you watched Armada? Shockwave? All the same. He’d say, “aw, that’s too bad…”, but in the case of Atriox and Decimus it would be, “Aw, that’s too bad…somebody kill him again.”
I would love to see that, I’d say the fights between him compare to Tartarus, if he is a flood, and you’re playing as the Banished it might even make me a little sad to see that.

Aaaaand here I thought I was the only one who thought that as well… I didn’t wanna say anything cause I thought I’d be the only one lol.

Well now hold on there take a few steps backs yeah you’re probably right
Wait wait!!! WHAT?! Is this official? So frigging hype for this now! WOW That could be amazing. I love it.
Calling it now, the Banished and the flood are teaming up… Super flood brutes.
I must admit whilst I can see the exoskeleton you’re referring to I can’t see it being Decimus.
Decimus died relatively early in the Campaign in what I’m guessing is a remote location fully scouted by the Banished. They would’ve retrieved his body I’m sure
It’s possible they had more of those suits for manning though, but who knows, you could be right.
If you think about it, Atriox rebelled against the Covenant because they did not care about the lives of his Brutes. Now, Brutes are Brutes; although we never see it in-game, the Brutes are constantly threatening to viciously execute their own soldiers. However, this is a perfect opportunity for Atriox’s character development; we can see his softer side and how much he values Decimus and the lives of his troops.
