One of the reasons I bought the game on disc was because I don’t always have wifi and I enjoy playing campaigne.
I got the disc today installed I (like i always have done) and apparently I’m waiting? Pretty sure when you buy a game on disc it doesn’t require online to play it. does it?Or is this one of the many major faults 343 forgot to mention?
I don’t understand what the hell this is about but I haven’t played the multiplayer for ages for obvious reasons and the campaign is pretty much all the game has to offer now.
You’d be disappointed to hear that most discs don’t have the physical capacity for 100% of the content and require additional downloads to make it complete.
On another note, we’ll find out in 2 and a half hours.
Someone confirmed that you won’t be able to play Halo: Infinite with just the game disc. You will need an internet connection to download a game update at the very least. I’ll edit my post to include the source.
Once downloaded onto the machine, I don’t have a reason to doubt that it’ll work offline. After all, they’re enabling LAN functionality with the multiplayer hotfix.
Re-reading things I think I misunderstood. I thought you had no internet connection at all.
The game hasn’t officially released yet. It will in about 2 hours and 10 minutes and you will be able to download the update to play the game then. I think you will be able to play it offline, you will only need an internet connection for the initial download.
Edit: I got the time wrong by an hour. It’s 2h and 10m from now.
