So… I was afraid this was going to happen. Blue team will most likely be shown with the II’ s, but what about the III’s?
I’d understand that either some wouldn’t want to carry on as Spartans or that some would be assigned to train the IV’s or join a fire team.
But what of Tom and Lucy? They were Kurts protege’s. If anything I’d expect those 2 to stay as a reminder of Kurts Legacy and to see the results of his training.
Not saying that I’d forget the Gamma Spartans, I think Ash would go onto being a fire team leader.
It’s not surprising seeing fire teams aren’t set in stone. Red Team, Green Team, and even Blue Team have changed over the course of 30 years they’ve been in active duty. However, although it is safe to say the Spartan IIIs wont be in the comic; it hasn’t come out yet and there still is a small possibility they’ll be there.
I am really intrigued by Blue team and the Spartan IIIs that were in Ghosts of Onyx and Glasslands and hope that 343I doesn’t just forget about them I would love to see them in a Halo Game.

Hey, I would love a Halo RPG. I would love it if they expanded to pretty much every form of game. (Some may call it milking the cow, I think of it as expanding the universe.

OT I wanna see Tom and Lucy really bad. I have not read Ghosts of Onyx in a few years, and am currently re-reading (and reading some for the first time) all of the Halo books, but I clearly remember Tom, Lucy, and Ash. I hope that they remain on Blue Team, along with Mark and Oliva. They have earned their place and they need to stay with my girls and Fred on Blue Team.
Even if Blue alone came back, I’d be satisfied.

Tbh when John-117 reunites with Blue Team I imagine the Gamma Company Spartans will splinter and become a separate team led by Ash-G099.
What I honestly want to know is where the rest of Gamma company is. There were a few hundred of them off planet when Onyx got hot, but they never got referenced again.

Either wiped out in a suicide mission or they’re all active still. If Gamma Company is still mostly active, I imagine they’ve taken at least a few casualties in the fighting, though it’s possible they all survived aside from those who died on Onyx.

I was under the assumption they were all absorbed into the SPARTAN-IV program.

there you have it gamma was disbanded meaning transferred other combat sections ie. SIV or retired.
I remember Frankie answered a question regarding bringing the III’s into the story again, I’m sure they aren’t forgotten. They just would have no attachment to Chief’s storyline, which is what Escalation 10 is focusing on.
