So Based on Escalation ... (spoilers)

So Based on Halo Escalation …I’m going to say it’s safe to assume that we will see the Arbiter and more Brutes in Halo 5.
Since they made a point of having Halo 4 share similarities with Combat Evolved, wouldn’t it be nifty if they started a pattern? Being able to play again as the Arbiter in Halo 5?
Plus the return of Brute weapons & vehicles (and possibly new ones).
But what interests me is what became of a Didact … they destroyed Requiem and Didact got all blowed up during the New Phoenix attack … is he gone?? What of the Janis Key?
We’ll just have to wait. But Arby is back! And so is Lord Hood.

We have every reason to believe the Didact survived.

No.

Parts of his speech only work post-Halo 4.

Even the Visual Guide says his fate is a mystery.

Aren’t Lord Hood a litle to old now ? :stuck_out_tongue:

Parangosky was in her 90s.

> The Didact fell through a slipspace portal, if I understood the scene correctly. We’ll see Brutes and Arby in Halo 5, but to be honest, I hate his armour. Of course, it might just be the abomination that is the comic’s art, rather than the design itself, but the helmet looks stupid. And apparently he has red glowing eyes.

Magneto in the X-men comics has shiny glowing white eyes, is this the case in the animated series, or even in the movies? Obviously not. There called comics for a reason. Now that said, i think his armour looks great! The old one was just that, old and rusty, and isn’t what i’d expect an elite leader to wear. My only issue is why the armour on the left side of his arm is completely missing?

OP, I don’t think this is concrete evidence that elites will be playable in-game. We might see them in Campaign, but that is all, as far as i’m concerned.

They must get less paperwork to do then.

I’m assuming in 500 years, humanity’s understanding of medicine could easily have added 2 or 3 decades to our average life-expectancy.
I thought Lord Hood looked a little anemic compared to Halos 2 & 3.
Arby only had glowing eyes in that one image where he was first introduced. His eyes were normal cat-like yellow snake eye things like they’ve always been later in the comic.
Also, the Elites have a long history of ridiculous armour.
