So… Who likes armour lock, I’m asking cuz I was a real scumbag with it
I do. The people who complain about it simply have a hard time killing there opponent who has it. It’s actually easy to kill someone with armor lock.
Not a fan of it. Just grinds combat to a halt.
if it was placed on the map like power ups in halo 3 i wouldn’t mind it but when the entire enemy team spams it making grenade rockets sometimes vehicles all but useless, becomes really annoying. Nothing is more frustrating than when I am on a killing spree with a sword or shotgun and some noob uses armor lock to pummel me twice because he can not properly DMR, grenade, snipe etc.
I liked the ability because I got easy kills off of people who used it. I’d casually wait until the person was nearly out of time and exposed then I’d pop a frag or plasma underneath them to grab a kill. It’s less of a pain than you actually think it would be.

Yes I agree, when ever I saw someone go into armour lock it was just a waiting game… but, at that point i only use half of it most times…
It can be useful to combat people who camp in corners with rockets but, it usually just gets annoying for me.

Armor lock can be useful with explosives and against vehicles but used improperly it can make you… easier to kill…
I wouldn’t have a problem with if people didn’t use it every time they get shot with an AR. It’s very jarring when that happens, and can cause frustration. If they were to tweak Armor Lock to penalize players who use it in the face of standard-issue weapons- the Assault Rifle, Magnum, DMR, Plasma Repeater, Needle Rifle, and so on- then it might be tolerable. Like make it so that attacking an Armor Locked player with a rapid-fire weapon instantly drains their AA meter and shields. Also allow snipers to penetrate Armor Lock.
Armor Lock should only be used to defend against heavy weapons like Rockets, Fuel Rods, and Plasma Launchers as well as grenade spam. Also to stop speeding enemy vehicles; it’s too satisfying to Armor Lock on a speeding Warthog and get a Triple Kill 
I always loved armor lock, i knw how to use it wisely.
Armor lock is one of those things that can either save you or screw you over if you don’t know what you’re doing.
