We’ve been leaning towards Halo 2 anniversary for a while and E3s still to come but do you really think 343 has had the time?
As great a game as I think Halo 4 is it hints in a few areas of being rushed.
It’d be nice if 343 continued the pattern of one core game and one spin-off per generation.
Halo 3 had ODST.
Reach had CEA.
They’ve already kept in the traditon of three map packs per core game.
Personally I’d rather somthing other than halo 2. Not every core halo game needs a remake.
I’d acturally prefer a huge extension of Spartan ops or an Elite campaign.

Well Halo CEA was largly made by a different Company
The Music was redone by a Team other that Halo’4’s music team
The Art department I think would be the only one’s at 343 who would have to do some work on it
And certain Affinity did the Multyplayer maps
So why no Halo 2A ?
a second season of SpOps would be good too.
That may all be true but the multiplayer, the map pack, the terminal codes giving you xp in reach.
The games were very much tied together despite the differances in how they were produced.
Perhaps Certain Affinity or another company could play the main role or at least have a rather large hand in the next spin-off?

Halo CEA wasn’t a spin off, it was a remake. Spin off means a game that has campaign that is similar to the main story, but takes place off on the side lines of the main story, or somewhere in the same universe.
I think its going to be a Firefight/Spartan Ops spin off.
There should be a Spartan OPS season 2 at some point but I don’t see it being the first big HALO game for new xbox. I can see HALO 2 remake more so than anything else
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see something akin to ODST for the next generation of the Xbox. Not necessarily an extension to ODST (as great as it would be), but not something that continues from where Halo 4 left off.
Somebody worked out the current SpOps run will conclude the week of E3 so we might get Season 2 then. (Fingers Crossed)
I just want to see more of the current stories.
Spartan Ops Season 2 would be cool, but I also wouldn’t mind a Spartan Ops spin-off game.
Larger scale missions, more campaigny…you are your own Spartan (like Reach), scaling for whether you’re playing it solo or co-op…
Please? <3

This is exactly what we need and what I want
However, I’d like to feel more like MY Spartan, rather than just an anonymous “blank” state like Noble Six or The Rookie, if that could somehow work

I consider CEA a spin-off and a remake in one. It literally took place only a few hours after Reach and depending on how long you can last on Lone wolf you could still be playing as Noble six by the time Halo 2 starts.
But I guess I should be saying side-game instead, that has it’s own seperate campaign but is also there to support the core game.
P.S I guess ODST proberly wouldn’t be been a spin-off either, because it took place during halo 2 not 3.
