Been completely addicted to Halo 5’s Multiplayer since the launch. Very happy with it. But my question is, things got REALLY good when they started introducing the forge remake maps, but I haven’t heard any more news on them. Are we not getting any more forge maps in the multiplayer rotation? I would have loved to see some more H3 remakes in there. I’ve tried searching but Google isn’t on my side.
It takes a lot of testing before maps get the thumbs up for MM. I think arena 4v4 should be next for forge maps for rotation since every playlist has had its share of custom maps. But I can say 100% that customs maps are on there way!
they were focused on testing the 6 community infection maps. more BTB and Arena maps will probably be introduced soon. unless race gets introduced. if it does then its race maps we will be seeing next.

343 Doesn’t test the maps. If the map looks good, it’s in. Just take a look at half the BTB maps and literally every Breakout map. Heck, half the maps in those playlists don’t even look good either.
It takes a very long time to get good maps into matchmaking, just hold on a bit, they will come! Once they are done with Forge on PC we will hopefully see hundreds more maps (from actual smart people on PC) that will be matchmaking worthy. Plus it will open up 343’s calendar to focus on adding in more maps!

You are horribly wrong, I know several people that I have talked to and getting their maps into matchmaking were nightmares. True 343 doesn’t test them themselves all the time, sometimes they do (like with infection), but it is mostly the cartographers. They do all the work. Trust me they don’t just add in maps willy-nilly other wise matchmaking would already be 90% forge maps.

Is that why Antifreeze is basically unwinnable on Strongholds as Red and why you can get basecamped with ease on Fracture?
