So today I was able to play 5 just fine and then went and played a few BTB matches and finished them out like I always do. I then get back on later after playing a game of SMITE and apparently I’m banned from playing Custom Games with my friends and Matchmaking entirely. Not exactly sure what’s going on but this is becoming a problem as I am involved with the clan community! I never received a time limit on the ban either… If someone could help me out with this dilemma that would mean a lot.
While its not exactly a solution go to your games played on your profile and look for any recent ones labelled DNF. If you have one or more that could be the reason as you will have been registered as having quit the game.

Well… I’m not allowed to even play custom games… I’m not sure leaving games would be a big enough problem to cause that…

You get banned for having to many dnf games. When you are banned you cannot play online. But it depends what the ban is, if it’s an arena ban then you can still play Warzone. If it’s a Warzone ban then you can still play arena. But both bans prevent custom games. However as I listed above please use the official ban thread.

I did make a post in the ban forums but I just went through my game history and I don’t have any DNFs and I went back around a week…

Well my problem is how long it is… It never gave me a time limit… That’s my main problem. I would like to know how long my ban is so I can see if it’s a massive problem or not…

It tells you as soon as your banned… I believe it tells you when you try to play a game as well.
The OP isn’t going to like this but what I think happened is your DNFs in customs earned you a ban hammer. You have five on the first page alone. You have a few in warzone as well. Now i can’t confirm this but have heard DNFs in customs can earn you a ban not only in customs but arena as well.

I am just going by what I have heard. I am not 100% sure.

Yup. You can get banned from Customs & Forge.
Listen, 343i, I get it. You gotta crack down on quitters. But - and maybe this is just me - banning Customs seems like overkill.

Please use the ban thread for any queries on matchmaking bans. Quitting Forge or Custom games should not affect your account for matchmaking bans <mark>*</mark>. In certain circumstances you will be banned after leaving Customs or Forge, but the ban itself will be for a previous offence - quitting, disconnecting, suiciding, AFK’ing or team killing as the system runs 1 game behind.
