Who loves playing Halo 4? Today I played my first 12 games or so (beat the campaign last week), and I had an absolute BLAST. Maybe it’s because I played in a group of buddies, maybe the ‘Honeymoon’ effect is still there, but I haven’t had fun like this since Halo 2/3. I didn’t hate Reach as much as a lot of players, but it got stale and old very quickly.
I do believe the addition of sprint speeds the game up significantly, which is a very good thing in my eyes. The maps are outstanding. Flood mode is addictive and frantic. The weapons feel and sound powerful, which is something I think has been missing since Halo CE. I feel like I’m the only one (based on the content in these forums) that has a positive outlook on the MP in Halo 4.
One bad note - the XP cap is a bit annoying and I hope they get rid of it soon. Other than that, I am totally psyched for whenever I have some time to sit down and play some more Halo 4 online.
