A few months back, 343 mentioned in a blog post that the MCC team was struggling with memory limits on the Xbox version of MCC. Seeing as how Reach releases on MCC December 3rd, the MCC team most likely fixed this issue a while ago by now. However, I’m wondering if this ‘fix’ sacrificed certain elements of the game’s memory to make it work, seeing as how this game essentially runs eleven(!) engines. Hopefully not, but I won’t be surprised to see texture streaming issues along with long loading times.
i’m also currious how they managed to do it. but i’m not sure if they will talk about it, or even are allowed to talk about it (bc of competition or whatever). also i’m also pretty sure i wouldn’t understand it, but i’m currious
