before going in let me start off with a line catcher
player revenue populas
as suggested breifly on my other post, when it comes to map layout and size why not recreate maps that you know would work properly for the new gen ability’s.
ironically enough most map motion dominant ability’s carried over from reach like sprint and the jet pack others are just minor movements.
so there was some form of info that mentioned halo 3’s sandtrap to be making a comeback saying that it was held from your rendition of H4.
its safe to say there will be changes but your reason as to creating such a thing if you actually did was that it would fit to a manner of game prefference whatever that might have been.
so its also safe to suggest maps like Boneyard, longhead just for a start.
NOW back to player revenue
your point of view is more critical than the view of the players in a good way.
its a honor and responsibility that expectations, unknown or otherwise are
sen-sated.
you need to put a firm game out to establish many goals new and abroad
that said
many would agree in the open opinion of upbringings of classic maps im not saying remakes upbringings are revised editions like pitfall.
and im talking about more than a few im talking plenty from halo games abroad.
and im sure that if you put maps from a vast assortment of halo 1,2,3,odst,reach
then you would draw in players from all the crowds if even a few maps per game.
let people come looking for reviews and find that there are maps and open areas for btb from all kinds of locations in the halo franchise like the ark or new mambasa to make people want to not only play your game even more but stick with it and buy the original instalments on the side for repurchase-play value.
it not like its something that needs to be done at the get go but its worth it
and if you like to use those maps as spartan ops in addition to war-games then hey people can see what it means to fight the new class enemy in a familiar homecoming rendition.
whatever need be id think its a smart approach
and here’s a Strong reason. many households that couldnt purchase dlc was due to lack of affordibility.
But with the new requirement of only one membership necessary, any households that supported multiple accounts would save money originally invested in microsoft to begin with
let alone Microsoft owns rights to halo so how hard would it be to generate gold membership cards that come with a season pass.
they’d draw newcomers for the game - console - and still make a profit
