Why hello there, I was just wondering on the current status of Sangheili being playable characters in Halo 5G. Personally because I love the elites and the main focus is because THERE A WAS A MEGA THREAD ABOUT IT!
That on it’s own should of gathered 343i’s attention and to ignore it seems, wrong. I’m wondering if 343i thinks that just having elites in MCC (in only 2 of the 4 games) will just shut everyone up. Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah, it doesn’t work that way. It’s not like the entire Sangheili community hasn’t been vocal about this topic. Not to mention how 343i seems to have removed all affiliation with a Elites in on the site for awhile now.
It really Puts the middle finger in the face of people like me and all those hundreds of people to post in that MEGA THREAD. Just saying 343i, all that Halo’s that have “flopped” in the fans eyes had a crappy connection to Elites besides the obvious one being CE, because CE.
In terms of progress with this topic 343i has gone in reverse with less character variety. Which is the exact opposite of what I expected back during the Golden Age.
Even if you don’t want those filthy dinos in you Multi-player games, do you really not want them in Customs? Come on you guys didn’t rehire Keith “Yoinking!” David with all the Elite hype then crush it. yes I’ve realized i’m just rambling but still though the point stands.
BTW after along time i’m happy to finally be back in the halo community. After a really, really bumpy road with my Novel and working with Knalxz and TheTrueAscended I’ve come back more with alot of their left over energy.
All we know is Elites won’t be in the Arena Multiplayer portion of the game. We might possibly play as the Arbiter in campaign, or Elite slayer. Or play as the Covenant in BTB or Invasion. Not much is known.

Considering the number of sprint threads just on the front page right now, that’s a moot point.
We don’t know for sure, just that they weren’t in the beta. Elites weren’t in the Halo 3 beta either, but were in the final game.
It’s crucial that they be brought back in full, meaning playable in all normal playlists.

If not crucial to the eyes of the Sangheili fanbase than to ever halo player. If 343i ignored the MEGA THREAD that lasted 2 and a half years, what does that say about future Halos?
Certainly not a fanbase that I’d want to be apart of TBH.

and the several threads you’ve repeatedly made in defense of 343 and Halo 5 aren’t redundant?
Nothing is set in stone and an elite thread isn’t a redundant thread by a longshot.
I loved playing as an Elite in Halo Reach. So, I think it’s time that they come back to multiplayer in Halo 5! I mean, there was a scene in Halo Escalation where Sarah Palmer and other Spartans were training on the Infinity’s war games deck and guess what they were fighting against, Elites! In Halo 4, it was said that the Spartans were participating in training simulations, which in turn explained the canonical idea of Halo 4’s multiplayer. If 343 uses that same idea with both Spartans and Elites in other gametypes besides “Arena”, then playable Elites in Halo 5 are highly likely.
