has anyone notice that alot of them are more callouts(bad word to use but only word i could think off) to other xbox games? like bioshock, deadspace, i knows theres more, but i can remember that game.

I think they’re -Yoink!- armor.

Yes. this.
Started with DOA/ninja-gaidens Ryu Hayabusa. In H3.
There has also been some halo content in other games. DOA 4 and Fable 2 to name two.

The Aviator helmet resembles the Nanosuit helmet from Crysis, not to mention Venator looks just like the Advanced Suit from Dead Space.
I haven’t noticed and I doubt they are call-outs if they are. If they do resemble, then they are probably references and there is nothing wrong with that.
Oceanic and Venator seem to look like Bioshock and Dead Space inspired. Then again, some people nicknamed the Halo 3 EOD Helmet the ‘Killzone’ helmet.

Aviator looks like a modern helmet used for flying jets to me.
I haven’t even taken notice that they could be call-out to other games. Most games seem to borrow from each other anyways, so it really isn’t a surprise.

yep those are the two i was talking about. also the EOD from reach was fallout to me. but really? not many people have notice that?

You know in the still pics they look similiar but not exactly the same, but in-action that’s all I can think about when I see them.
I love deadspace so I was psyched to see venator. 
They do look similar but I think its a nice little nod to other big games (if thats even wat it is)
My only real complaint is that I wish there was a couple really bulky ones mixed in. Every once in while I want to look like a walking tank not a slimed down jet fighter, especially for Spartan Ops.
