Why are there gas tanks on the back of it? I thought that they could run for over 400 miles off of one tank of salt water, of all things. In theory, the warthog could drive 2450 miles with all those tanks on the back.
This seems excessive. Also, general warthog discussion.
It’s so the Covenant will shoot at the tanks instead of the people, only to find that they’re filled with either salt-water or nothing at all. Safety first, then teamwork.

Apparently in CE, a plasma grenade that hits the windshield of a warthog bounces off.
Small feature, but I think right for Halo 4, and it might stop those that ‘jump and throw a sticky down’ to destroy the 'hog, giving it a bit more life.

I would have to disagree, if you know what your doing in the warthog you can do some serious damage. As long as you don’t floor it all the way into the enemies base like a madman, you should be good. Sadly, almost everyone drives this way.

“If you know what your doing” Yep but most people do not know how to drive, they only know how to splatter. Many times i have full warthogs try to ram me when im against a wall and i easily sticky them. Thats why i hardly hop into a warthog, the amount of bad drivers is high.

I can drive a Warthog really well, it’s all I really liked to do in Halo 3, reach and 4. The warthog in Halo 4 (turret) really sucks. It’s way underpowered and can be killed really quickly. None of the maps work well for warthog gameplay anyways. Really narrow or they have other vehicles that are > the warthog.

Yeah I never get in a warthog if I am not the driver. Oh herp derp that guy has a plasma pistol and stickies I KNOW I better try and splatter him instead of backing up giving the gunner a good shot on him! >_>
