Have they been mentioned one bit by 343? More so curious to see if they’re going to abandon one of the key aspects to arena shooters. Anyone know what they’re planning on doing with them?
Power-ups are still in the game. I believe there’s a couple new ones also.
I read somewhere that there will be in the form of the Halo 1 power ups but don’t take my word for it. I can’t remember if it was a reputable source or some random person on the forum stating their prediction as fact.
I know for sure Oversheild, Active Camo, and Speed Boost are back, it wouldn’t surprise me if there were a couple new ones.
Yes. Overshield, camo, and speed boost(and others that haven’t been discussed) have been mentioned. Apparently rather than simply running over these to activate them, you have to press and hold a button, which they triggers an animation where you slam these power ups on your chest to activate them.

Well it’s good news to know that OS and Camo are back. Though I’m rather on the fence about the idea of doing such a method to use them.
Personally a fan of the CE style in terms of how you can use them and obtain them.

In CE, you simply run over them to pick them up and use them. I don’t see a differentiation? The animation of slamming something on your chest, however, seems a bit redundant and unnecessary in Halo 5.
I’d imagine the confirmation of the button is to prevent activating them by accident.
