I have, I still dislike some of the changes and things need to be tweaked (looking at you AR and smart scope) but all and all, I was totally wrong about this game. It has a huge skill gap, sprint is balanced nicely, very nicely actually, BR and DMR still beat the AR at mid ranges (AR still needs to lose the scope or be nerfed), ground pound and charge are useless other than to die fast so no one is using them. It feels like Halo again. 343i were able return Halo back to it’s glory after 4. Bravo, bravo. When the teaks are done and the bro down -Yoink- is toned down/taken out, it will be damn close to being the best one yet.
I forgot AR even had a zoom. I just use Magnum or BR instead.
I haven’t noticed any serious balance issues, and evade is just like horizontal jumping, easy to counter.

There aren’t many, and none too serious, just things here and there, and the thrusters are more like a side step or lunge than a thruster. AR is still a little too strong, but not horribly so.

Yeah, gap is huge, I just got my first perfection. Halo 4 kids realized too heavily on auto aim, assist, and bullet magnetism. You can def tell the hardcore from the casuals.

I find the AR to be a bit weak because the magnum, BR, and SMG can all outclass it. I’ve avoided it so far.

I’ve only used the AR as a back up, but when I do, I destroy people with BRs and anything else, even the sword.
