Look, I have seen a lot of hate posts all over the place about Guardians. I do actually have a solution that will also point out if they should continue “modernizing” or take it back to the more core experience of Halo. If you don’t want sprint, ground pound, thrusters ADS, ect, don’t buy it. That is the decision I have personally made after seeing gameplay. I may still play the beta, but will not pay for the game unless significant changes are made to it. Stick with the MCC (if it is ever fully functional) there is a brand new game right there with new features and everything, and that’s what I will do. Vote with your wallet, and kill the population of H5. Posting on the forums is going to do nothing. I hate to sound harsh, but they don’t care what you have to say as long as you pay and play.
Instead of playing and hating every moment or lighting up the forums, simply don’t support the game. If the game does poorly in sales (which seems very possible anyway, given the fiasco of the MCC launch and the failure Halo 4 multiplayer was) and it is seriously underpopulated online, the point will be made. If it does well and is populated well (and stays populated for a while) then we know this is just what people want. My point in short (too late I know) is, don’t buy it, if it flops and dies then they know what to do, if not then we as a community must either adapt or leave. Just my opinion, but if you don’t like what you see VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET GUYS, if you like this support the game and population. if you don’t then don’t support it and kill the population. That’s the only way to have you voice and wishes heard.
I may play the beta. I mean, hey, my opinion may change, has happened before. Right now, I don’t like some of the audio, I really dislike the new way the armor looks (looks better than 4 though, I’ll def give it that) and a lot of the mechanics I dislike. At the same time though, if I end doing a 180 about the mechanics I’d be willing to support it.
They did take it steps back. It’s finally a true arena game again, but with new movements and a couple damaging attacks. But these are standardized. Can’t you just be happy that it isn’t continuing the path that halo 4 was taking? There are no loadouts. We spawn with the same weapon. There are power weapon spawns on the map. The is no ordinance. THIS is halo, and I am so happy they atleast brought it back to what it absolutely needed.
Why does everything have to be about boycotting and death to the infidels and so on and so forth? It is a -Yoinking!- game, a product on the free market. No one is trying to brainwash you into buying something you don’t want. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it, and move on with your life. It is not your place to raise a rebellion and “kill the population”. Let those who want to enjoy the game do so, and leave it at that.

Ok, true they did bring it back a good deal, but I still dislike a lot of things, I’m not gonna pay for what I don’t want. Maybe instead of ground pound and shoulder taps add them as some sort of on map pick-ups. I don’t care for sprint and thruster, once again, power pick ups. Smart scope isn’t a deal breaker but I’m not really fond of it. Honestly I like the play style of Halo, that’s why I play it. I like titan fall and crysis and lots of other shooters, but if I want those mechanics, I will play those games. I play Halo for the same reason I played Gears of War up until Judgement. It was totally different to everything else and I loved it.
I don’t have a problem yet with any of the features they’ve added. Something that sets apart Halo from Crysis or Titanfall is map control/power weapons and equal starts. Those two things are monumental and set Halo apart entirely from those series.

Go re-read it, I said if you like it support the population, if not, don’t support it. If the population dies then we know what the majority of the community wants and what 343 needs to do; if not, same thing. My point was don’t talk, act. Vote with your money, however, don’t support the game then rant about how you hate it or it isn’t what you want.
