So about BP credits? Will they still be there?

So I was conversing in another thread of mine about creds and earning them and the BP creds and so forth when I made a comment I didn’t even realize the gravity of.

I asked if the season 2 BP creds that are earned every 10 ranks will remain in the pass AFTER then end of season 2? Knowing that 343 waited until the week before season 2 dropped to reveal that the free pass of season 1 would be locked and only available to paid pass holders.

By this I mean, do you think they will remove the credits from the pass when the season ends. Like you will no longer be able to obtain credits from the season 2 pass in season 3.

NOW: general responses could be

A) “Season 2 is 6 months long if you can’t earn 100 ranks by then oh well.” Fair point. What about season 3-x?

B) “oh well you don’t own the pass you shouldn’t get the access when season passes.” Fair as well. But Creds aren’t a part of the free pass now are they?

If it’s not a part of the free pass should this even be thought about being removed? Do you think that this is even a remote chance of happening?

If this occurs how upset will you be? I can’t say I would be surprised but I definitely wouldn’t be happy. It’d feed further into fomo and there are already enough games that force you to live in them.

The credits are not part of the free pass.

I imagine they’ll keep it in for S3. They put the effort in to add them, why would they take it out right away? That’s just more effort.

It certainly wouldn’t build any good will.

as before i do wonder about this. the way things are going honestly i wouldnt be suprised.

I think if you paid for the pass you’ll be able to unlock everything in it next season.

That would be like them removing the challenge swaps or 2XP boosts that aren’t free.
