I’m not trying to bash on 343 or anything cause heck there an amazing company but I know I’m not alone on preferring full out maps than remixes. The reason I am mad about this more than the other updates is is that I was expecting a halo reach map not a remix. Like I said it’s called memories of reach so when you hear that were not getting a halo reach map it kind of bums you out (halo reach was after all my favorite halo). I’m not bashing on firefight I support it. Infection I know we’re getting it and did I rant about that no. In fact I can’t wait for infection. how does providing feedback make me one of those people shoving all this stuff down 343s throats I’m just saying my opinion. It’s called being productive not destructive.

Honesty, I feel the same as you. I’m happy infection is coming, even know i’ll admit i’m not really a fan of it, but I know a lot of people are, but the arena map being a other remix is really a let down. When torque came out I thought “finally, no more remix maps” well, I couldn’t be more wrong. This game gets slammed hard by people because of this. The remixes need to stop. Honesty, what has all the money from the REQ sales gone too other then a portion (small one i’m betting) to the HCS… I just don’t understand where there head is at here.
Having monthly updates was SUCH a great idea. Free maps for everyone got me and all my friends very excited and VERY impressed with there marketing model. People loved it when they heard it, but now that people have seen these updates, I almost think it has done more harm then good for them. Most of my friends have left Halo 5 for a few reasons, but one being that the updates and new maps were very lack luster. Kind of hard to disagree with them, especially on the map part. Word of month goes a long way and right now, the word on 343I free map updates isn’t great…
