So today, i finished a match of capture the flag, and got a 10 kill streak, 15 kills, 1 death, got a double kill with a sticky on the enemy flag carrier, and protected my carrier the most, to get messaged by the second worst player in the match (he was on enemy team) which said: “you are a noob”. i messaged back: just cause im better then you, salty much? worse was that i was unranked there, he was diamond. what the -Yoink- was wrong with him?
Humans. That’s the problem. Some, or quite a bit, don’t know how to grow up and keep their mouths shut.
Yep, he really was a child, besides he couldnt say anything, he had a kd of less then 1 (and got the railgun at the beginning, missed me, then thought he could beat me in a melee fight without his shields

It happens. Report if it is warranted, ignore it if it isn’t. I’ve gotten angry messages meant for me and some meant for other people because they got confused about who was who.
even had a kid send me half-a-dozen love letters because he thought I was a girl he’d played with and thought I was playing ‘hard to get’ when I told him I wasn’t. It stopped after I sent him a voice message though.

I agree, furthermore, replying can get you into trouble OP. Take this advice, it’s 100% correct.
Sometimes ignoring them is the best option. Alot of salty players send a message in the hopes of getting you annoyed and end up replying and arguing.
Just like others said, block and report if warranted.

I don’t even dignify people like that with a response, I just report and block them and move on.
The only sort of message you should send someone after a game is gg or something like that.

I dont think its such a big deal to report them as reports can do some serious damage to a profile and though the other person shouldn’t have sent the message there is no reason to stoop to their level by sending a complaintcough I mean report about them.
I love it when that happens, it’s like that time when some group of kids came over to me randomly and hit me with sticks in real life not realising I am 6ft and pretty damn strong…

If they violate terms of service you are perfectly in your rights to report them. There is nothing wrong with reporting someone. If you act badly you get reported. Ideally we should treat each other with a modicum of respect, those that fail to get reported.

If you report them for messaging they will probably get a small communication ban, nothing more, hopefully the little ban acts as the deterrent it’s intended to be. If they don’t heed the warning the bans will get longer.
