I recently saw in the patch notes that new buyers of the game get 15 dollars extra for buying it now that it has a bad reputation and is fixed. But what about us halo veterans who bought the game on launch day and have supported it through all this. Well we can send in our copies to Microsoft and get a refund then buy it again for the extra 15 bucks. Once again this shows how money hungry Microsoft is and how much 343i doesn’t care for the people that are keeping this game franchise from sinking even after that monstrous game they called Halo 4. But no I thought there is noway they can -Yoink- up a remake but no they -Yoinked!- everything up. What do yall think they should do for us or will they do anything for the people anyways.
I agree 100%, when I heard that anyone who buys MCC now through December gets a 15$ rebate I was like wow… really what about us Day One buyers/loyal fans.
I think 343i probably won’t do anything, or even more funny do something but what they do may even insult us more haha.
If they want to start in the right direction to making things right slowly, I say they extend the Halo 5 Beta another 3 weeks at the least, and all Halo 5 DLC is free for all who bought Halo: MCC… but I doubt they will do that because they just seem to not care about us haha.

Actually you got a point haha. 343i, if you are listening, there is one way you can make it up to us as fans. Please as a company stop making Halo, give it to a company (any company is better than 343i at this point) and let them handle it because they will do a better job at it I bet or at least ship the game with it working lol. At this point I don’t want to see the logo 343i on any Halo game anymore because it will just make me think of this huge fail and make me puke.
You realize that almost all of the major games that came out this fall season got discounted during the holiday sales? Sunset overdrive was $30, and it just recently came out. This happens all the time, especially this time of the year.

This wasn’t a discount if you pay attention, this is due to the games multiplayer not being reliable so 343i is knocking off 15$ for anyone who buys it in the month of December because 343i believes they will have multiplayer 100% working by the end of December, basically just bent over the people who got the game day one or first 3 weeks and we have been the ones doing all their dam server/bug testing for this game, feel like I should get paid for doing this bug testing… or rewarded in some way.

This is not compensation being offered by 343i, what you are seeing is being offered by Microsoft and the Xbox Live Rewards team. If you buy any Halo related items, you can gain credits back if you are an XBL rewards member. Fro what I have read, this was mentioned (or at least people have know about it) since before MCC launched. It’s highly likely that this was planned well in advance of MCC launching.
Compensation / making it up to the fans is still something 343 / MS need to release info on, but they have stated it will happen and they will detail that once they have ironed out most of the issues with MCC.
