So 343, You coding Halo 4 for DLC Armor?

I hope so, because there’s going to be nothing but where’s our new Armor, make up your Armor, and where’s our DLC armor posts about a year from now peppering in with the COD in space nonsense. I’m sure this will pertain to perks and Additions and even AAs. Save your moderator’s some grief and the people who have to constantly explain why no new Armor is possible by making it possible. Your wallets will thank you.

I wondered about this too. Hopefully they were able to get it in. If it wasn’t possible for whatever reason, I do hope the game does has more armor than we have seen in the past as they have indicated.

I’m telling you it’s going to be nothing but grief if they don’t have DLC Armor in mind when Halo 4 has launched and everyone has unlocked everything on the disk. Throw in Spartan Ops being successful and people starting to like the new designs and they are going to want more and some will be willing to pay for it. I really hope they left it open enough so they can add some other DLCs to the game than just the normal Map Packs.

Not just armour, but armour and weapon skins too!

Hell, it’d be awesome if they released new colours for the colour palette (although, that should be available at launch)

Skins would appreciated to. That would go a long way for sanctioned Clans, websites, ect ect if they were able to get skins showing off their logos down the road.

I’d pay for Armor DLC as long as it’s a sizeable pack and I get a lot of choice.

I wouldn’t necessarily want a stand alone armor pack. I think as a tag along to a Map pack perhaps.

This would be pretty cool, I’d kind of like to see them give a shout out to Bungie with a marathon skin for the BR or something.

They’re giving us weekly Spartan ops missions, a full campaign, 10 MM maps at launch, and a number of other things. A single disk can only hold so much memory.

It wasn’t possible in previous halo games because you would need to recode any of the maps that custom armor is played on. So in a game like halo 3 it would be a couple gigs for a piece of armor, but it would be even worse for halo reach, maps are bigger in data size and you wouldn’t do it just for multiplayer maps, but also firefight and campaign missions.

That would be great

Umm… DLC? As in on your console?

Except for the first week of spartan ops, spartan ops is not on the halo 4 disk.

The community has been asking for DLC armour since Halo 3, and we know that 343 Industries was working on it for Halo Reach, but unfortunately couldn’t get it done in time for the release of Halo Anniversary, so they had to scrape the idea.

I’d be willing to bet that they’ll have it in this time around, or at least I hope so.

I agree with having some armor tag along with a map pack or spartan-ops DLC. Just make sure there’s variety, such as armor, skins, and weapon skins.

343 should be concentrating on making the game play good and smooth before even considering adding DLC that will prepare your spartan for a fashion show.

It’s not even the same people that would be working on it. Concentrating on making DLC armour isn’t something that would take away from the game’s quality.

I would have no problem paying up to $500.00 for a single helmet. As long as it were cool looking and somewhat exclusive, wich it would be for $500.00!

Also, I may go up to $1000.00 if it were a full suit of extra unique armor.

I am being 100% serious about this. For those of us who have the cheddar, why not let us spend it on high-end armor?

Nah you’re right.

It would only make the little kids happy as hell and -Yoink- their pants.

As well as the not-so-little kids/adults.
