I’m sure I can’t be the only one who feels this way. Sniping in halo 5 is extremely forgiving and because of it does not feel as rewarding.
Remember in halo 3 if you got a decent range no scope it was a super awesome feeling, or just getting nice doubles/triples with the sniper felt awesome because they didn’t happen that often and were much harder to get so they felt incredibly rewarding.
Now in halo 5 its so easy to line up a no scope at a medium distance and getting doubles and triples seem to happen way more often but they aren’t as rewarding. I haven’t gotten better either lol but I immediately noticed this when playing halo 5.
Yeah I do. I have seemed to get unusually good at sniping, after being rubbish on the other games. On Halo 5, I can snipe people with good accuracy. But I go back to previous games and oh man, you notice the difference. I’ll admit, I was better at sniping than before, but only slightly. If anything, Halo 5 have given me a huge platform for me to drop off come Halo 6 or if I go back to TMCC.
Halo 5 seems to give it to me if I’m close, like some little kid at a putt-putt.
I find it (far) better than Destiny’s sniping.
or maybe we are just better at sniping after years of unforgiving halo sniper training. lol
My sniping performance is pretty comparable to past halos to be honest.
Try using the beam rifle then that’s harder to snipe with.
It has to be otherwise no one would bother picking it up in this game. You get killed very quickly by many different guns in this game compared to the others. Plus the radar is nerfed hard so you’re going to be quick and no scoping more often.
Well in reach I was extremely good at sniping. I rarely missed… So I actually feel like I’m worse in halo 5

I agree, I spawned a beem rifle and a sniper into Warzone one separate occasions in the same game. Missed about a third more -Yoink- with the beam rifle. Seem to have to aim in front of a moving target a long way.
LR is hardest to aim than all H5 snipers.
My only problem with the Halo 5 sniping is that you can hit their neck and get a headshot. My only problem with Halo 3 sniping is that you can put a round through the top of their skull and not get a headshot.

But… but it’s a rifle, Light Rifle… I’m assuming you meant Binary Rifle.
