I think we need more of this in matchmaking. You know, use snipers at the range they’re actually designed for instead of having to snapshot or switch to the shotgun all the time.

Halo sniping has never really been true sniping. I’ve been enjoying a lot of Battlefield lately and that’s true sniping. Halo’s sniping has remained close to medium quarters since Halo Combat Evolved (granted there were a few huge maps in CE for PC…) It’s just how it is, they probably won’t change it.
We are talking about the same developers that nerfed the BR to being a less viable weapon than the magnum at it’s intended range, so take that for what you will. If you don’t believe me then watch Luke TheNotable’s video about it.

Oh goodness LTN has so much bad info in his videos. Don’t go by what one YT content creator says.
Anyway, it would be nice, but it’s not going to happen. At least where Halo 5 is involved.

If I was here to have a discussion on LTN’s credibility I would make a forum post about that elsewhere not on Waypoint. I go off of the community’s voice as well as many major Halo YouTubers. I simply referenced LTN because he made an entire video about it, whereas other YouTubers included it as a talking point in a video about other topics as well. You can also reference the Waypoint thread about the update that nerfed the BR and find that many people agree that the BR has been nerfed to worse than magnum in it’s intended range.

I miss some of those bigger maps from halo 3 and a few from reach. Made sniping more of fun skill than snapshot. I do like shotty snipers though…byt I stay true to the sniper and it has always been a goto for me in the Halo series
I think snipers should be on btb maps. I thought it played way better on btb maps. It’s kinda dumb having snipers on Small CQC maps.
Need to take a look at halo 2 snipers now that was a fun and hard playlist to get 42 in

Though not everyone likes warzone. I hate it. If halo 5 was only warzone I would of uninstalled a long time ago
It’s fine the way it is. There’s really no need for a change.
The fact that Microsoft took Team Snipers away ruined my vacation. Team Snipers should ALWAYS be a playlist switching monthly by either shotty snipers, snipers, forge map snipers, halo 3 forge map snipers, WHY ISNT TRUTH A snipers map (what do you guys have against Midship?), and capture the flag snipers.
I was havinga good time playing team snipers for the past 3 months and now I dont even want to play halo 5 anymore 
halo 5 snipers is the best snipers experience ever you guys really nailed snipers.
snipers is so important that I want team objective snipers playlist and normal snipers playlist as long as there are enough people.
it was so much easier to find games when you had team snipers FACT.
lastly, where did halo 2 battle rifle playlist go that was op af. i want halo 2 BR vs carbine playlist
by the way the halo 5 vinyl record is straight fire
Halo 5 was easilyyyyyyyyy the worst halo game… but we all show love for such a great franchise… Team snipers was the only thing going for Area please bring it back.
