Team Snipers population is larger than Team Slayer Pro, King of the Hill, Oddball, Flood, Regicide and Dominion. In fact you could add Oddball, KoH and Team Slayer Pro together to barely equal Team Snipers yet those playlist stay and it has to go. Well darn.
I’m sorry but I still believe KoH and Oddball should be under one playlist along with Flag. Well, Flag seems to be a little popular so I can see not adding it. Still though, Oddball and KoH both with their own playlist? To quote football analyst “Come on, man!”
Here’s to hoping the playlist becomes permanent sooner rather than later. It did in 2, 3 and Reach so I hope lessons have been learned from the past.
Team Snipers is one of the most popular Playlists and like SWAT it is the most popular Playlist, that made it over from past Halo games.
It’s a shame that it will be taken out as it is so popular and everybody was waiting for it to finally come in.
I don’t get the idea of rotational playlists, if a popular playlist that is clearly more played than vanilla playlists has to leave again.
Team Snipers and SWAT should belong to the vanilla/stock list of playlists that MUST be in any Halo Game. They have gained such high popularity they should not be touched from now on and be considered a part of halo. 343 can still put in rotational hoppers and take them out again if they are not popular, but not take the ones out where there is no doubt that they are played like crazy.
EVERYBODY WAS WAITING FOR SWAT AND TEAM SNIPERS. PLEASE 343 DON’T TAKE THEM OUT. ALL THE SIGNS SAY LEAVE IT IN!
There are certain playlists that should be in Halo & never get taken out. Snipers, SWAT, Team Slayer, Double Team, Big Team & Lonewolf. Those 6 playlists should always be in rotation. 343 if you want to get rid of something get rid of all the objective game types & put them in 1 playlist.
Well I kept a constant watch on the numbers and the only time oddball kept up with Snipers was when it had a daily challenge.
Here’s to hoping it comes back permanent since it was the 5th most popular playlist and that’s counting Team Flag which I bet loses population after a month or so.
Why are the playlists that look the least like classic Halo, being 4v4 slayer or objective, always the most popular?
Infection/flood, SWAT, snipers. Even Griffball. These are very popular, yet they play totally different from the core gametypes.
The game mechanics in them look nothing like what Halo is known for:
instant kills vs. Relatively long killtimes
One-weapon gametype vs. Broad sandbox
Sport/survival versus FPS.
It’s almost as if the majority of the players don’t want to play Halo and instead want to play a zombie survival game, or a limited version of Counter Strike. Or American Football.
I honestly can’t comprehend why there are so few players in the objective playlists either. Team Slayer gets boring after a while, at least in objective you have a lot more variables to play around with, and still need to outslay your opponents. Teamwork is best rewarded there.
Oh boy! I really hope they do listen to us. It’s just not cool they taking away such fun gameplays but yet… we can do something to make 'em listen to us, stop playing it for one day.
Geez!
The thing about giving a service is listening to the client.
