Snipers, at their core, are long range weapons. Why force us to play Snipers on standard arena maps and not Big Team Battle maps? BTB maps allow us to snipe, effectively, as well as have CQB and sneak around, all without too much focus on snapshots and CQB. I spend more time meleeing than I do actually sniping simply because it’s a pain in the -Yoink- to try and keep whipping the joystick around and reload vs charging them.
Is it at all possible that we can have Snipers on BTB maps? I’m fairly certain it’s a flag/switch in the playlist and not too complicated of an ordeal.
When I tried the snipers playlist and The first map was coliseum, I RAGED. I dont know why we arent playing BTB maps. All it is is a no scope fest. Theres no point in having a sniper rifle, you might as well play swat. 343 must be watching Dora the Explorer “Sniper, no sniping”. The BTB maps would be perfect for Sniping and countersniping, not just running around doing the spartan charge then no scope. STUPID.
