I feel like the sniper seems a bit more powerful than normal. Like every time I’ve played with full health and armor the sniper is always and instant kill, even when its not a headshot. I don’t remember it ever being this effective. Maybe I’m wrong?

Are you sure you’re full health? Cause if you are it’s suppose to be 2 body shots and 1 shot to the head, BUT if you got shot just once by any weapon, like say a one DMR shot to the head, a sniper bullet to the chest will still kill you. Its stronger than the Halo 3 sniper.
If anything the recoil has been greatly increased. It feels very different than Halo 2’s sniper.

ok, like I said I might be wrong.
It is still a very strong round, I have to say. Body shots are pretty effective if they’ve taken even a little bit of damage. Even I’m owning with it, and that’s not normal.

It does, which is annoying. Basically head shot or you probably wont get the kill, but maybe this is better when you’re on the receiving end.
