Yes, but game play function wise I hope it has less auto-aim/aim-magnetism and I hope that swipe sniping is far less effective at exploiting hitboxes.
Too many average players (including myself) are able to achieve too much success with the sniper rifle. Sniper rifle should be a power weapons which takes genuine skill to achieve success with.

Swipe sniping will always be he easiest way to use a sniper up close. I think people are really landing those shots dead on. The reticule on the sniper is small as it is. I can see if it were cod, where quickscoping/noscoping isn’t legit at all. In halo, landing sniper shots up close are usually legit.
Heck, I still miss with swipe sniping sometimes. It’s up to the person’s timing.
On another note, the sniper looks intimidating and pretty nice in Halo 4. The thing looks like a machine gun with the longest barrel ever.
