What did everyone think of the sniper rifle? I’ve always felt that it is a really important weapon to get right in halo games, For me i feel like it felt good but the one thing that i really didnt like was when you zoom in you have 2 circles instead of just the one like all halo games felt like it threw my aim off a bit with it
Felt good to me. I like how you can’t spam both shots.

after we each have our own opinion it’s normal.
Bloom on the sniper is a terrible idea. Bloom for precision weapons in general is a terrible idea.
Bloom on the sniper is a no-go, didn’t appreciate that, but definitely like the look for it.
The sound was good, and the feeling was great. I was expecting the Halo Reach sniper design after seeing the assault rifle. But I think it looks good.
It sure sounded good, but it was rather hard to use. I think my favorite snipers in the series have been Halo 5 and Halo 2, with Halo 5 being my favorite. I like the look as well.

Well according to analysis done on this new sniper, it is more ackon to the H3 sniper. Meaning you will not get kills without the main reticule actually being on the target, unlike H4, Reach and so on.
Halo Infinite bullet magnetism has been dramatically reduced. So you are being rewarded with being accurate, but also the bloom of this sniper increases more as you try to spam shots from the hip

Idk if it was just me getting used to it, but I had to really focus on getting it right each shoot, it felt different yet so familiar. On pc, sounded great, felt amazing. On pc for me it felt like the fluidity of the game was off a bit so it definitely off aim wise personally. But I have no doubt they will make it how it amazing. Loved getting acquainted with it.
I Loved all aspects of the Sniper, execpt Bloom. I hate bloom, especially for snipers. It can just stop you from getting better at the weapon because you will think you will never be able to hit a shot but in reality its because of bloom
