Which is the best of these three single-shot rifles? I personally think the Binary Rifle because it has maximum damage with a cool aim assist when zoomed in. What do you guys think?
beam simply for the no scopes. Binary second.
I’m between the Beam and Binary. Beam has a lot of auto-aim, so it’s very easy to get Snapshots. The Binary is a one hit kill, and I seem to do really well with it. I’m terrible with the UNSC Sniper!
Beam rifle. Easy snapshots ftw!
Dunno why but I love the unsc sniper. Beam is good for snapshots and while the binary is powerful i prefer to not let someone know I’m lining them up for a shot.
I have to go with the Sniper Rifle on this one. They all maybe great but here’s the thing about them:
Sniper Rifle - I feel i have more control over this sniper than i did with prev. titles.
Beam Rifle - Great, and I’ve always liked it, however, it seems you need to take a second shot to get the player. Even when you try to go for a headshot, it seems the player survived.
Binary Rifle - Very Powerful, however, it has one major problem. Ammo, nuff’ said. Not to mention the beam that basically “blows your cover”, b/c the opposing players have to follow the beam to where your are. Like the Predators shoulder blaster, lol. Sniper and Beam Rifles don’t do that.
Well, considering I was top player in a sniper match using nothing but my melee, I’m gonna go with the last option.
They all suck, all I need is my fists.
Most powerful = Binary
Most easy to use and, thus, deadly = Beam
Most awesome overall = Sniper
Sniper rifle has bigger clips, faster ROF (considering beam rifles overheating), longer range, and does more damage than the beam rifle. It also looks and sounds -Yoink!-, and has the most satisfying snapshots. So, overall, it has my vote.
Although my fist is a very worthy weapon of choice of mine, I would say beam.

Am I really choosing between precision weapons, that, no matter how much magnetism, I will rarely connect with.

If so, I’ll take the sniper any day. Then a beam.

I treat the Binary rifle like an elephant gun: it puts an enemy down quick. The beam rifle, however, I’ve managed to make snapshots and it felt too easy to use. The sniper rifle… I’ve always needed to improve my sniping skills with that weapon. I once headshot an enemy through the beam from Solace once.
Sniper, hands down.
The binary rifle is very cool, but it doesn’t hold a lot of ammo (six rounds initially and a max of 12), has to reload every two shots, and it tells everyone where you are. You can take down a Banshee with four rounds, which uses two full reloads and 2/3 of the ammo it spawns with. It can take down a tank with 7 rounds, which is one more round than it spawns with. And it can’t hit the broad side of a barn if it’s not scoped in.
The beam rifle is comparable to the sniper as far killing people goes, but it only has ten shots and can’t pick up ammo. It takes 26 shots to take down a Banshee (more than twice as many as it holds without the ammo perk) and you simply can’t kill a Scorpion with beam rifles no matter how many shots you use. In other words, it’s totally useless against vehicles.
The sniper can hold up to 28 rounds, can pick up ammo, can take down a Banshee with six shots and a Scorpion with 10, which is two less than it spawns with.
So a sniper is the only one that can take down a Scorpion with the ammo it spawns with. It’s the only one that take down two banshees with the ammo it spawns with. If you’re good you can get twice as many kills with the sniper as with a binary rifle before running out of ammo, and two more than with a beam rifle.
I’m not seeing much of a contest here.

Easy answer. Beam rifle has so much auto-ai… “SNAPSHOT”… hold on I just got an overkill

Yes I have and I’ve done it too. Also I applaud you for making you case based on their ability to destroy vehicles, which the the Bianary is better than both of them.
The Beam shoots faster than both of them, the ease in which it can snap shot is ridiculous, hell the aim assist on it makes it easier to snipe people at distance too. Overall its better than either of them.
I <3 Sniper. That crack, kick, headshot is so satisfying.
