Sniper Reticule?

Do you think they will make it bigger or smaller?

In Reach when they made it bigger, it made no scoping a LOT easier, but made sniping much harder.

In Halo 2 when the reticule was a lot smaller for the sniper, sniping was easier (possibly also due to not having to lead the shot), and no scoping was much harder in that game.

What do you think they’ll do and what do you want them to do with this?

Im not sure what you are referring to when you say the reticle was bigger in reach than it was in H3 or H2. Are you referring to bloom? You may have worded your question wrong because the reticle size hasn’t changed, only the factor of bloom being added on.

IMO I would like to see the H3ish style sniper return with no bloom. Quickscoping was more fluid, YY’ing had no interference from bloom, and it took the most skill IMO. I would also like to see the return of the H3 HitBoxes, as Reach’s were far too big. I mean even a moron could snipe

I haven’t really noticed a difference. It’s always been a tiny blue circle for me…

They should leave the reticle size the way it is and fix the response time.

Halo 2’s sniping was easier because of massive aim-assist on XBL. I thought no-scoping was easier. Reach’s sniping is imo (based on 36,000 sniper kills) incredibly unwieldly and broken like everything else because of aim acceleration problems, and no-scoping is only easy because of reduced movement speed.

I say make it a dot. Not the tiny tiny circle it is now, just a dot.

I think the biggest problem with Reach are the rather large hitboxes for the head. It makes sniping much easier.
