No.
No light.
Only vaportrail / shocktrail / plasma trail / ion trail after the shot has been fired.
I do like the idea of the smoke trail like in every single other halo game.
Maybe a glint only when youâre in the crosshairs and looking at the sniper (both in direction and angle)? ![]()
That I can see.
Like how CoD WWII did it when you tried to hold your breath while scoped, you had a small glint like a quarter was reflecting sunlight as you walked by.
But the FLOODLIGHT BEACON THAT ANNOUNCES TO THE WORLD
âHEY YOU!!! YEAH! EVERYONE IN THE MATCH RIGHT NOW!!! I AM TRYING TO SNIPE SO PLEASE TRY TO MOVE A BIT MORE SLOWLY . . . . NO NO, YOUâRE GOING FASTER . . . HEY STOP USING THE GRAPPLE SHOT TO CLOSE THE GAP BETWEEN YOU AND ME! I AM TRYING TO BE SNEAKY AND SNIPE YOU GUYS!!â
Iâm almost certain H5 did something like this and I donât remember anyone having a problem with it. Of course, I wasnât on the forums thenâŚ
Having now played a few more games of Tactical Slayer⌠and a handful of custom games with Snipers.
Iâm starting to swing towards toning down the glare. Sometimes itâs actually hard to snipe someone because you canât see their head through the glare.
Maybe we could have a slider to set our own intensity.
Or at least have it turned off while scoped. I can already see that the enemy is aiming in my general direction.
It doesnât need to go, otherwise that gamemode will be campers paradise. The glare needs to be tuned down. You need to see a player is scoped in, but right now itâs so bright you donât see the players head and canât shoot back.
Yeah, exactly⌠because that was the case in every Halo before. /sarcasm
What is the sarcasm part?
That snipers was a campfest.
Strange how we never had any issues with camping snipers in the past what makes this game any different especially with how infiniteâs sniper is being called the hardest sniper in the series to use effectively
Hey Iâm all for sniper glare to be tuned down. I donât want it to stay how it is. I just donât want it completely removed. ![]()
