Huge agree. I would be ok with it IF it only glared to whoever is being targeted and only when someone has you directly in their crosshairs. But the sniper glaring anytime someone is in the scope just makes them a giant glaring target to everyone, completely makes using he sniper scope horrible. Just bad all around.
I know. Arenāt bullet trails enough? They lead you back to the direction they were shot. Allowing the sniper to still have the benefit of surprise, but also not super OP.

Couldnāt agree more. Itās also annoying to zoom in for half a second in any playlist with one only to be instantly seen and descoped constantly.
Itās a horrible addition that didnāt need to be added. Should definitely be removed

its also pointless, I know the āSniper glareā is supposed to help you see a sniper but thats what the giant smoke trail is for! BUNGIE WAS AHEAD OF THE CURVE
Shrink or dim or narrow the field of view/ projection for sniper scope glare.
Not everyone needs to see the 5000 watt spotlight on whichever half of the map your looking at.
Only those directly opposite you/ where your looking
Remove it on all other weapons or reduce it to a star.
In the old days people were savvy enough to see the bullet trail or a team mate get sniped sometimes even look at the kill feed to see who/what is killing, think players used to use map knowledge also, they would learn the sniper spots & lanes.
Do 343 think players are that dumb these days that a 20,000 lumen torch was needed to show everyone where the sniper is at.
If you have fought to get a power weapon or controlled the area it spawns you should not be getting punished the instant you look down the scope.

Agreed, itās become ridiculous. Even Mint Blitz is complaining about it now. Simply no reason to even have it, havenāt found a compelling argument besides āIt helps me see the Snipers more easilyā.

heck even the laser sight on the Binary rifle was fine.
Was testing it out with a friend on Launch Site, and the glare even goes through solid objects. So you can scope at a wall and still give your position up.
