Sniper Gameplay Footage?

Does it exist?

No. I’m not sure we want it to exist to as there are reports of quick scoping elements and one shot kills.

Where are said reports?

I really hope that is not true. I hated quick scoping in CoD, although Halo has no ADS so I don’t know how that would work, and one shot kills anywhere on the body would make the sniper less skillful.

Edit: Just so we are clear, sniping takes ZERO skill in CoD and that is already a game that takes almost no skill to play.

I’m VERY disappointed that we didn’t get to see the sniper. I wanted to see how it was different, but I hope it’s still 1-shot kill in the head, and two for body shots. Also to the other posts, quick-scoping has been in Halo in every game, at least on how I look at it. It’s not the same as Cod’s since Halo doesn’t have ADS.

The way I feel quick-scoping is in Halo, is when you only scope in for a second and get a headshot. But that’s just how I view it. I could be wrong. It’s not a true no scope because you scoped in, but you didn’t stay zoomed in long. Another way to tell is when you hold down the zoom in button with the sniper, it automatically zooms out when you let go, and some people do that for quick-scoping.

Quickscoping in COD requires aim snapping to targets automatically when you aim down your sight. No Halo game has had this, although what you’re talking about (shooting an enemy as soon as you zoom in) has always been do-able in Halo, although there is no advantage to it.
