Remember high ground? How there is that little space that people go to sneak and have funny interactions? It’s also a nice little shortcut to the base. I think that’s the only area like that in all of Halo that makes you have to crouch and be silent in order to get through. I always have fun in that place. I hope something like that can come back in infinite.

I love sneaky gameplay, it’s so difficult on some maps though. I would like to see more options for it in Infinite.
With that weird, instant outline around your enemies I don’t see sneaking up as much as possible. It used to be great to crouch in the corner with a shotgun. Now, that’s not going to happen. Plus, there’s even a whole new equipment that outlines you through walls.
Totally, agree with you though. I loved being able to hide in the shadows and surprise people. That was great.

You know what would be really cool? If you are not outlined at all while you sneak. That way the enemy can’t see you, but neither can your friends. That would make for some really interesting encounters. It would force you to remember what people look like after they fool you once.
This might not be the best idea but now I really want it for the funny moments. I would love that option in custom games.

That is a good idea.
It feels like when they change things, it breaks other aspects of the gameplay that everyone enjoyed. I don’t think they thought through the ramifications of the change. Sure, they’ll sell more customization options as you’ll be able to see your customized Spartan better in matchmaking but it will take away from being able to sneak around. Hopefully, you’re right and that when standing still the outline goes away completely.

I think it should only disappear when you’re crouching, but still same idea. I also do hope we can force colours in custom games, especially infection. But I don’t have any real doubts about that.
At the end of the day, I am so happy with this change. I hate always having my colours taken from me. I have asked for this feature in invasion for forever and I’m happy to see it in the whole game.
