So theres a clip in my fileshare of me blowing up a wraith with a banshee and getting a snapshot medal for it. I would link to my fileshare but I couldn’t figure out how to get to it.

OT: It could be the “medal theft” bug that Reach had. Might not have been completely fixed for Halo 4.
Basically, when dealing with Wraiths, you could steal kills and medals. In that game, I once DMR’d a Wraith right as a teammate hit it with a Splaser, and I, not they, received a Splaser Kill medal for it. Perhaps your situation here is similar, if someone hit the Wraith with a Sniper Rifle shortly before its demise.
I’d say someone on the opposing team accidentally hit the wraith with a sniper after you’d already damaged it, causing it to explode but award you the kill, and because you were not zoomed in, awarded you a snapshot…
It has happened to me on multiple occasions when i was on the back of a wraith getting sniped.
it could be a glitch similar to the airsassination glitches though.
