Smurfs are a problem. What is being done?

Can’t help but match smurf accounts every other game or so. 5 out of 8 games so far tonight alone. Completely not fun to play.

The big question is:

Why are the shared “family” (BS) accounts allowed to play ranked Xbox Live matchmaking? What is being done to curb the problem? It seems like an overall Xbox Live issue that needs to be addressed. It is a broken system and drives people away from 4v4 Halo 5.

Have a read over the matchmaking feedback posts by Dr. Menke - you’ll find then in the pinned archives thread. Smurfs have been discussed a few times and measures have already been added to matchmaking to prevent smurfing.
