Alright, the smurfing in MCC competitive is getting ridiculous. For example, I’m only rank 1 in H3 team double, and I get to have a fun time getting detroyed by people who look like just got MCC but in reality, they know every aspect, every trick to destroy us.
I can’t for the life of me ever rank up due to this and I’ve been playing that same ranked game 10 times.
I don’t care if you can’t find a game on your main rank 30+ account, please let us actually play with people around our skill level. Let us progress.
I agree, smurfing in MCC is just out of hand although there’s nothing anyone can really do about it sadly.
Getting two ranked wins for the challenge yesterday took way longer than it should have due to players with brand new accounts and a ridiculously high level of skill, no Comp Rank 15 drops a 30 kill carry on a game by game basis like that.
I avoid competitive in MCC & Halo 5 like the plague because of this issue. Just makes ranked boring to play a lot of the time.

343 really needs to fix this omg. Sweat equality just isn’t worth the challenge to complete due to this. I’m getting to the point of just leaving competitive entirely but maybe I need to improve my skill level…but how can I when I fight rank 30 people on their fake rank 1 accounts. Ugh

The question is though - how do you stop it? I’m totally in agreement with you that this is a problem. However there really isn’t any solution that I can think of to detect people that do this kind of thing. Then after you detect them, do we make them skip a bunch of levels and take them from level 1 to 30 in an instant? That’s kind of unfair to those who put in the time to get there legitimately. There’s so many tough questions here.
Don, I’m with you on that. I hardly play competitive either. I’m always getting the short end of the stick in the modes. Social is more laid back and enjoyable for me. However I’ve noticed more people lately who probably should be in competitive infiltrating the social playlists.

Man, this is just getting too toxic.
It’s not even a ranked problem either. Every social has the blank profile. They’re either really good or probably someone’s kid. In ranked it’s always someone good with their group.
im not even good anymore but my games always have bad teammates and a smurf or two on the other team. It’s hard to win social even if you sweat hard.
