Warzone is hard, my team sucks all the time. - Boss stealing is cheap, there has to be a fix to this. - Warzone isn’t fair, I face full parties all the time and get wrecked.Here is why I don’t play Warzone:
please keep in mind, this is a casual playlist, it’s not meant to be competitive, it’s an offshoot of BTB which was never meant to be competitive in the first place. This is why 343i kept it unranked like BTB. Since it’s unranked, you will face and team up with people with widely different levels of skill unless you are in a full party. You will have awful teammates, good teammates, or any combination of both. It’s all dumb luck.
since this game is casual, don’t expect people to work together. So boss stealing and playing no defense/offense in Warzone assault should be expected. You will find that a lot of players do not care if they win or lose. They just want to either have fun, pad their stats, get commendations, or most importantly, people just play to get REQ points to buy REQ packs. win or lose, Warzone nets you more XP and RP than Arena, so many players will grind Warzone not giving a -Yoink- whether they win or lose.
with that being said, stop complaining about a game where no one tries. you and a few other people may be trying, and that’s good for you, but to expect coordination, competition, and/or playing the objective, is the wrong mindset going into Warzone which is why I don’t play Warzone or BTB unless I just want to -Yoink- around. Otherwise, I stick to Arena where, for the most part, you’ll find more players who want to actually win the game.

Maybe it’s worse in WA than regular Warzone, but it definitely happens. Played Urban not too long ago and it was just terrible. Kept spawning in the line of sight of the enemy team. They were on top of, I think it was the second base after the Garage? The Armory? Something like that.
And you get spawn killed pretty fast right at the start of Urban from Defenders atop the Garage.

Not really, you die pretty fast if spawn off a base being taken due to being spawned outside of it. Landed in front a few enemy tanks that way.

I pretty much only played Warzone Assault til I just quit Warzone altogether XD
It’s just not that fun… there are too many hoops to jump through. Select your Loadout, access REQ’s, earn REQ’s, select REQ’s… make your way out of your own base (that are all the same), the imbalanced nature of the mode itself, even simply having to press X to respawn…
Yes, it’s even the little things! It’s why I didn’t enjoy H4 and don’t play much CoD… all of these little elements that have become popular among other (casual) games, simply do not appeal to me. Halo has always done things it’s own way, and it’s the way I enjoy most.
Thankfully Arena is set up to appeal to long-time fans. I’ve maybe played a game of Warzone 7-10 times total since launch. It’s just a chore to play…
This is my attitude to Warzone.
I generally switch to Warzone when I reach that point in the night where I’m too tired, and my gaming skill goes out the window.
I play Warzone because I know I can play it without ruining progress on my ranks, and I can have some mindless fun with the REQ system by calling in whatever weapon or vehicle I feel like playing with at that point. I do at least make an effort, but not as much as I do when I’m playing Arena.

I have seen it once, but normally not an issue. A full squad with a bit of spawn knowledge can do it, but it’s not a huge issue

EXACTLY. Warzone is so mindless I can’t believe there’s people out there complaining about it.
I complain about Warzone because it’s garbage. And because 343 said it’s a replacement for both Firefight and Spartan Ops… Hahahaha no, it’s a terrible -Yoink!- of an excuse for them to not put in the two monumentally better PvE gamemodes.

So you don’t play warzone, but you made a thread wondering why people complain about warzone? Maybe if you played, you’d understand the concerns people bring up. Some are just complaints, but some are legit concerns.
I mean spawns are pretty bad in Warzone from spawning in front of an enemy vehicle, spawning almost outside the map risking death for no good reason, spawning in the sky(dunno how), spawning in enemy lines of sight with being in the middle of a shoot out, spawning nowhere near where you selected regardless of enemies or not. Then again there’s this I just question how the spawn system was made.
Doesn’t help that there are spawn killing scrubs are playing this mode and it doesn’t help that the servers are getting far worse than they were earlier even with a reduced population that is declining. Teleporting players left and right then when it happens to you its not fun especially when it boots you out of the game like this.
