Your right thats all you can do just brush it off and forget about it

Lol I call hacks a lot (at least 5 times a game)

Trash talking doesn’t have to be offensive or mean necessarily. Its like you no scope someone and say: “oooh, right in the teeth!” or like “At least make me work for it, damn.” Any little fun insult to their skill to throw them off.

Not that we can do that in Halo 5 anyway. I miss proximity voice.

It can be fun and funny, some of the best trash talkers are freaking hilarious to play with and can increase your own teams morale greatly.

Proximity chat was awesome! And I seem to remember that it was optional, sigh, so many options back in the day.

For some you just report them and move on though and anyone that says reporting is childish well what they’re doing is childish by insulting people like 12 year olds.

People need to understand their is a difference between trash talking and rage. Nobody likes rage, but good trash talk is great.

ITS ALL FUN AND FAMES UNTIL THE TEARS COME OUT.

What does smh stand for?

Only person I talked smack to was my sibling. Still if I get a hate message, or someone talking crap about me I just do what people still don’t seem to get and I say in this way
Learn to love the mute button.

Truth to that.

Technically people do remember it, they just stop caring.

Same. You’d have to really tick me off to make me trash talk you, and I am still rather curt even then…

Lol report someone for trash talking… lame. I saw that topic earlier that person must have some pretty thin skin. The sad thing about it, it seemed like the majority of posters were agreeing with him saying just report him and move on.

Shaking my head but you prob googled it by now

Spit on my hair…

I completely agree. Just the other day I got attacked by some guy cause he didn’t like the fact that I was teabagging each of my kills (the ones I was close to at least) on Halo: Reach. This classic, in your face, gesture has been around longer than Halo. If people can’t handle it, why are they playing FPS games. They should go back to playing platform or puzzle games and quit complaining.

> For those who competitively played Halo since Halo 2, when there was no party chat, kids used voice masking, and exploits set the men from the boys (double shooting, BxR, etc), the community was much more brash, in your face, and talked trash regardless what team you were on. And now there’s a topic about crying over some mean messages? I’m sorry, but you’re playing online in a competitive shooter and you don’t expect some trash talk? either play a more casual game like Battlefront or play a more casual mode like Warzone or BTB.

Yes, I’ll -Yoink!- you, shoot your body, and use every curse word in the book, but after the game, I’ll send a “gg” if it was good game and invite them to a game if they were decent. Made some good partners this way too.

To me, smack-talk isn’t good. Heck, I feel bad when I WIN because I think about the other team who lost. I would feel even worse if I smack-talked.

if you get cyber bullied it’s your fault. Just walk away dude.

No its not lame if the person is insulting you and won’t stop. There is nothing wrong with reporting them its not like we have to protect some badge of honor by not reporting them.

How the hell is it your fault thats one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read. You’re probably a cyber bully and get some sick enjoyment out of it.
