Smh. kids these days can't talk smack anymore

I was playing Warzone the other night. On top of the base sniping. Another guy came up and started sniping. Got killed by a wraith. He went down and I ran over his sniper. He came back up but I took the bullets, not even on purpose. He then kept standing in front of me. so I just started shooting anyway. After the game he sent a message all upset because I took his sniper after he came up and sniped with me. You shouldn’t do that bro he said, and closed with GG though… lol

I know right

I miss the intense h3 trash talk. Proximity chat was awesome too because you could talk smack to your victims corpse while you teabagged it and you knew the guys could hear you.

I was taught growing up only to trash talk when pissed

I tell ppl to yoink off all the time when they start the whole “hello can you here me?”
Ppl cant trash talk though when kids attempt it it is hilarious

Couldn’t have said it better myself

Honestly its not just halo its the whole cry baby society that is taught to run away and cry to mommy rather than standing up for themselfs.

Everyone is offended and triggered and they want to censor everything because it might offend someone, you used to be taught to not be a -Yoink- and just deal with it, now everyone is so sheltered they’re to scared to say anything.

I really miss when everybody would just insult each other over xbox, it was so much fun to start -Yoink- and then they get mad and try to 1v1 and you just DESTROY! them, then they rage. The good ol days

that happened to me before, lol

I wish people new the difference between trash talk, and vulgarity. Vulgarity is more the norm.

I only trash talk when I play with my friends and it really doesn’t go beyond that.

I have run into a few people on Reach and 4 who have called me out. I do enjoy dishing it back once and awhile, but I never am the instigator. I never really make derogatory remarks or swears either–that crosses the line IMO.

By the way, I have recieved so much Patriots hatemail lol, but I knew what I would be getting myself into.

I enjoyed when you were able to talk to the enemy team before and after the match. Many trash talks were had.

> I don’t see what is so fun about trash talking, but everyone enjoys different things. I don’t see the fun when someone talks about my mother in a very derogatory way, since that’s not how I was raised. It shows who has class or not. You can be competitive without trash talking anyone.

I concur with your sentiment. Using sophisticated verbiage to insult a plebian’s subpar intellect is a superb way to prove your point!

Big words = Fun words!

There is a difference between trash talking and just straight up insulting people because they suck. Hey I’ll be the first to tell you I suck but I don’t need to hear it 100 times over the course of a match from my own -Yoinking!- teammate the whole Warzone match.

this guy knew how to talk smack

> For those who competitively played Halo since Halo 2, when there was no party chat, kids used voice masking, and exploits set the men from the boys (double shooting, BxR, etc), the community was much more brash, in your face, and talked trash regardless what team you were on. And now there’s a topic about crying over some mean messages? I’m sorry, but you’re playing online in a competitive shooter and you don’t expect some trash talk? either play a more casual game like Battlefront or play a more casual mode like Warzone or BTB.

> Anyone ever play any pick up sports? (I know not to compare sports with video games, but both have a competitive team aspect) You talk -Yoink-, but after the game, it’s all good. Yes, I’ll -Yoink!- you, shoot your body, and use every curse word in the book, but after the game, I’ll send a “gg” if it was good game and invite them to a game if they were decent. Made some good partners this way too.

> I’m probably in the minority in this because everyone else is in party chat, doesn’t talk in games, or plays casually.
> But if you do play with or against me, I’m actually a really nice guy.

i talk -Yoink- just for the fun as well and to just get a laugh from my friends but some people take it seriously.

I think they should man up i mean its Halo.

Ok…
