Here’s a little tidbit about SmartGlass (that device interaction with your 360 console). Personally I’d like to hear some comments/wants about Halo 4 and SmartGlass interaction.
I know they’ve mentioned SmartGlass will become part of the Halo 4 experience but I wonder what sort of features are going to be included? Perhaps player statistics as you battle players in game? Perhaps a real time top down map view of the spawns, ordnance, pickups, callouts etc?
What if they enable video recording to a device while you play? Then you could upload to Waypoint as well?
Personally I think SmartGlass has some awesome value add potential and that’s not even touching things from this video like sports watching, group voting, live feedback loops etc.
I think when they first showed smart class at E3 they showed some of the footage of the Halo waypoint and Halo 4. Something to do with extra video content and additional intel from spartan ops and campaign. I will try and find the original link for it.

I’m pretty certain they said support for SmartGlass is going to extend the game. Like Atlas type stuff but extended further. Also the video above has game invites etc with auto saving of progress etc.
It would be nice to hear about this but I guess it will be post launch and not day one available?

It comes out in October, so it’ll be available on day one.

I know SmartGlass comes on in October but I’m unsure about any Halo 4 integration with that release? We haven’t heard anything from 343i on this as yet, have we?

If its new and on xbox, then it should run smartglass. plus they did the invite thing on the e3 video.
I don’t know if this has been mentioned but on October 26th when Smartglass launches
it only supports Windows 8 Tablets and a few days later on Windows 8 phones.
I was really looking forward to Smartglass but I don’t have the money for a Windows 8 tablet,
because I already pre-ordered the LE + LE Console Bundle + the Tritton Warhead 7.1 Halo
Headset and my bankaccount can’t take much more abuse…
But I’m very interested in what kind of Smartglass functionality developers will add over time

If you go to your Xbox Home and click on the new Xbox info on the home screen you will find SmartGlass information. In that information it includes a list of games and other things that will be supported by SmartGlass. One of those games is Halo 4. It does not say Halo Waypoint although it is quite obvious that Waypoint will have a lot of features integrated in with Halo 4 on smartglass.
