Keep this in mind that when traveling to get to your teammates or looking for enemies to always look both ways before completely clearing an entrance. For example if your in a hallway like area and aren’t sure if the enemy is near (be wary of campers), always look to your left and then jetboost back and look right or vice versa, I can’t tell you the number of times I see my allies just book it one way and get assassinated from a distance or completely ambushed, this has saved me from getting snuck up on countless times and may work for you as well. Note it is also good to periodically make a complete 360 and check all your surroundings or just turn around from the direction that you were going to make sure you weren’t being followed, throw a bomb in that area just in case and then turn back and go the direction you were going, make sure not do a complete turnaround if you’re ally is pushing, push with them and you will most definitely avoid ambush and likely ambush an enemy. Also if you do go back to check be wary of that -Yoink!- spartan charger. - Traveling with your team: There were a few things in this area that I wanted to touch up on. This may seem similar to my Knowing When to Push tip but it’s a bit different. When you’re pushing you’re typically with going in the same direction as them looking for the same thing they are, a kill, to ambush an enemy, a weakened enemy, a red X, or on a chase. When you’re not pushing but you are traveling with your teammate be it a sprint or walking, take note of my Look both ways before you cross the street, if you see your teammate is going in one direction say in a hallway or a four way turning area look the opposite way from that in which you teammate is going briefly and continue to travel with them. This does a few things, if someone likely saw your teammate ahead of you their attention will have been averted and due to the allure of a seemingly easy kill he will go after them, if you blindly just follow your teammate and you’re not pushing, guess what, you likely blew an easy kill you could’ve had and will get killed your self, also that prevents your team from getting ambushed because if I’m ahead of you when we’re traveling and I notice you start to shoot, guess what I’m doing, turning my a.s.s around to have your back. - Going for Power Weapons: Take note of Tip 7, never travel to any one power weapon alone, 9 times out of 10 at least one other enemy is going for it as well and if they’re smart they’re traveling in at least a 2-Man team, waiting to kill you and get the power weapon for their team. Always have a plan to go after at least 1 power weapon and then go after the other.Just want to give a huge thanks to you all for showing me so much support, I honestly didn’t think get as much love as I did from my 1st I high key thought I was going to get a lot of trolls and people bashing me for seeming like a know it all which I’m not I just feel like there’s at least one person out there my tips may be useful too. Also feel free to leave any tips behind that you have as I’m always more than willing to learn a few things myself in fact I encourage it and was glad to see so many others gave me tips on my last post, I am by no means the greatest of all time halo player but I am, decent, I’ll put it like that, I can play on par with any onyx player and a few champions, but usually a whole team of champions will crush me unless my team has some organization to it, I typically can get between 15 to 20 kills and less than 10 deaths and anywhere from 7-10 assists sometimes as high as 15, but I prefer to get so many kills as I really prefer assists and making sure we all go positive.
Do note that it may be hard to follow each and every tip until it starts to become apart of your game that you remember by heart so I do recommend making use of about 2 to 3 tips per game until you’ve mastered them and seen how they may be useful to you. As always happy killing, and again feel free to add me. 7God Out!
