Smart-Link Question

When I read weapon descriptions for weapons like the sniper it mentions smart-link and I have no idea what it is. How do you use it?

When I zoom-in with the hydra and it locks on to people is that smart-link?

Smart-Link is the “canon” term for aiming down sight or zooming with your weapon.

Ok thank you–that is a little confusing haha. Is the hydra the only weapon with lock-on?

The Rocket Launcher has lock-on to aircraft, and I believe some warzone variants can lock-on to ground vehicles as well.

The Needler, and most Promethean weapons have a tracking effect.

Yeah it’s just zoom.

Smart Link = Zooming in.

Smart Link is Halo 5 logo for zoom/aim down sights.
