I, and I’m sure many other forgers would love to see a feature that lets you highlight a bunch of stuff and mirror it in any direction you’d like.
Scenario: I build half of a cool map. I highlight and select everything, then paste it anywhere I want, with the option to invert it like looking at it through a mirror. Then wahlah! I got myself a finished symmetrical map. If I want to make a bunch of changes, I’ll just change and fix one side of the map, highlight and delete the other side, then re-paste the updated side to easily complete my changes.
This would be a smart feature for Forge 3.0 in Halo 5. amiright?
Someone should create a computer program that can read in the forge map level files and let you edit them on your computer. I bet map editing would go a lot faster on a computer.
What about snap? IF you are moving two objects together like two halves of a base - circular base - if you could just ‘snap’ it together rather than adjusting every angle so it fits just right. It would be a time saver. There is already the option to adjust items by x degrees at a time (45, 90, 180) then why not snap items together. Also combinable objects so finishing one part of a base could be combined or locked together so if you wanted to move a portion of the map over you wouldn’t have to move every piece individually.

You sound like you’re describing the magnets feature in Halo 4 forge.
I personally want a “group items” feature where you can group items and move them together.
I would love to be able to mirror objects. I don’t know how many times I’ve stared at a tower piece, thinking “I would love to have this on the other side of the map, but I can’t mirror it. :(”
