Here’s a few small things I’d like to see in halo 5 (or the next one)
Lower overshield bar red. You have 2 shield bars in halo 5 and I thought it’d be a nice throwback to halo ce if the lower one was red and not green.
Skulls in req packs. So this is something I really would want, getting skulls in req packs and using them in warzone would make it so much more exciting to not only open packs but to play warzone. Imagine dropping into warzone and someone pops the blind skull on for the first time, it’d be amazing. They would have to change some skulls to work differently, for instant grunt birthday party can’t just be confetti for grunts, they could potentially spawn more grunts and have them be worth a lot of points, making everyone hunt grunts instead of bosses. (Skulls would obviosly be much rarer than even the legendary weapons, otherwise you’d get sick of skulls if they were in every other match)
Black undersuits. Sorry. I love black undersiuts because they make the armor pop more.
Plasma custer using battery. It’s a silly thing but something I wish they would use, I miss battery weapons (not as if they’ve gone anywhere but you know, plasma weapon using magazines or clips in halo universe is… Odd?) I know they are kind of plasma grenades but still, would like to be able to spam shot 3 shots and overheat it or shoot 10 in a row a bit slower.
Plasma rifle. The fact that the storm rifle has a pipe is what gets me. I don’t see the reason, I mean it’s not like it has to but the way the original plasma weapons had the… jaw look at the fron? I don’t know how to describe it. The not pipe part, the very alien look, almost magic. The shots just appeared out of those 2 teeths. Now it comes from the centre and is shot through that long pipe, like human guns. It makes it lose it’s magic and apeal to me. The storm rigle is a fairly generic gun with some blue curves. Real guns have curves I guess.
Full armor customization. I think this one speaks for itself, stupid decision to remove it.
That’s all I can think about currently, generic input asking what you think about these things and if you have other small things you would like to see.
