''Small'' maps.

I’m not sure if i’m 100% right but the reason for small maps is to simply end the game faster? (correct me if you can please)

I think when some of Halo 4’s DLC (and regular maps) included small maps (and I understand it’s hard to determine what a small map is with sprint) and I don’t think this is the right way to go.

We all remember our Halo 3 days, casual strolling to the other side of the map or using a vehicle, I actually enjoyed the feel of that compared to sprint (yes, another sprint rant)

I’m not saying Halo should never have sprint, I’m just saying in some cases sprint ruins some of the experience and I think the reason I have a problem with sprint is because of ‘small’ maps, it’s easy to move around and takes away the claustrophobic feeling as you can get to one side to another without much hassle, I’d like to see a bigger collection of large maps that, if sprint is going to stay, then we need to compromise.

Wow I just read what I wrote and I’m not even sure if I even understand me.

The reason for small maps isn’t to “end the game faster”, it just allows for more fast-paced, perhaps even chaotic gameplay, as well as putting more emphasis on close quarters combat and close range weapons.

Lol, no. Making smaller maps isn’t to end the game faster.

Considering one of my games, 50 high dubs, ended 0-0 I don’t see how …

Lol, end the game faster…

It’s so you spend (waste) less time randomly searching around and more time battling and constructing attacks.

Less cheap camping.

Easier for good people to control the map, which adds gap to da skill.
