Small Forge idea: Interactive objects

I think adding interactive objects (like the bridge and gates from Last Resort) into Forge would take it to a whole new level. We would be able to make wonders!

Here are a few suggestions:

Bridges
Gates
Platforms
Elevators
Ramps

Now, I know the community doesn’t like stuff like this in Mutliplayer. The main focus of interactive objects should be for Forge.

In Multiplayer, their main focus should be in, lets call them, party gametypes (Infection, Race). I think Race could be returned from the dead if 343 puts interactive items and they are implemented correctly into maps.

So, do you agree?

P.P.P.s: If anybody thinks I bumped this thread, I’m sorry, but there was a post I had to reply to. I won’t mind if everybody ignores this thread. Have a nice day!

Yeah I’d like that. Aswell in MP. I wouldn’t mind that. But it’s better for custom and Infections.

But I hate it when people say “For forge world”. It’s like that they only want 1 world again for forge like reach.

I want a map editor. X3

Or else, a lot of forge worlds in which you can change the theme too.

Ah man, I really hope Forge and Infection won’t disappoint me in Halo 4. But I doubt 343 will work much on that.

When I said people don’t like it much in MP, I meant too much. Like, every other bridge is interactive. Or every other gate. I’m a big supporter for having more Forge Worlds, in different styles, in Halo 4. Also, Infection doesn’t need to be worked on a lot. Just a few tweaks, nothing special. And thanks for replying. I already thought the thread is going to die unnoticed.

Everyone wants them, but they will take away the possibilities of creativity that Halo fans are famous for. There are such awesome mechanisms for gates and elevators these days that just giving us a button will make it all look small and useless. Forge was made so much easier in Reach, that looking at a great forge map would make it seem like nothing, where it would have blown minds in Halo 3.

I hope Halo 4 Forge will open more windows for the community, not doors, so that we will have the means to do stuff while still having to climb out ourselves. Make us appreciate the awesome maps that we make.

Fair enough.

No, but I was the first to post it on these forums weeks ago and the OP has taken it and claimed it as his own idea.

Using your ideas I could see myself creating the most amazing Castle Defense map ever!! Love your ideas!

What about conveyor belts? And to be able to adjust the sizes like you can with hills and death zones.

Just because I have’t seen your thread which you posted weeks ago, doesn’t mean I stole your idea. If my thread really is a lot like yours, I will be more then glad to say sorry and give credit to you in my thread, but don’t blame me immediately for something I didn’t do. You would sound a lot cooler if you said “Hey, I had the same thread a couple weeks ago, so could you be so nice and give me credit?”. Just wanted to let you know.
P.s: Sorry if anybody thinks I bumped the thread. I just had to reply to this. If you have anything against it, I won’t mind if you just ignore this thread. Have a nice day. =)

I support you sir.

Thanks for the support good sir. =)

Whatever. I happen to disapprove of plagiarism.
